silicone oil

I know this has been discussed before and i found alot in the search bit but everyone seems to have different ideas as to what grade should actualy be used in the viscous fan.

As far as i can see the original would have been 3000 cst but some people use 6000/7000 or 10000 for the folk down under.

Anyone suggest which i should use for normal vehicle usage, oh and i live in Fife Scotland so it does'nt get that warm up here, just wet!

6000 works fine for me in Devon.
