Hi everyone not posted in a while
I bought a land cruiser Colorado needing a auto box, as it happened I was breaking a 2nd gen auto surf. The box mOdell numbers were the same but there were differences main one being the output Shaft was abOut a 1" longer. I had a very competent home mechanic swap the Colorado output shaft into the surf box and swap torque converter.
Anyway it's now been fitted and top up with 5l of dexron 2 ATF. It's working in drive and going up and down the gears although only drove on a 1 mile farm track.
However in reverse nothing happens.
Don't know alot about auto boxes, does anyone have any suggestions
