My transmission was long over due for a fluid change, before this it changed gear and ran fine.
I decided since i was changing the fluid i would do the accumulator and line pressure mod which invloved dropping the valve body and shimming out 2 of the accumulators.
It ended up that i had to change the valve body gasket but i got the work done and the transmission all boxed up.
Filled it up with dexron 11/111 multi grade semi synthetic trans fluid.
level correct with the engine running.
The problem that has come up is when accelerating from stop there is a vibration which feels like you are driving over a cobble road, it goes away at about 10/20mph and it is only in the 1st gear.
Anyone got any ideas what could be causing it?
