surf gen 2 import info

hi guys new to owning a hilux surf gen 2 import k reg advice on the following please
central locking is not working is there a control ecu thing (it has a toad ai606 fitted)
is there a horn fitted on imports
would blanking of egr valve help feul consumption

Hiya

You may find you have a broken wire where the door hinges that's causing your locking problem. There's a good wright up on here somewhere if you use the search button

My horn is not original and the button for it is on the dash below the ignition. I always thought that was because someone changed the steering wheel but who knows. I wouldn't think you could drive in Tokyo without a good horn.

Blanking the egr valve will reduce black exhaust smoke, buying a smaller car will seriously improve your fuel consumption. Mine likes to drink and smoke!!
