  • Oil and filter change

    I normally do these my self but this will be the first time on a surf and just wondering if its a case of undo filter and put new one in its place?

      Did my first change today, oil, fuel and air, feel like a proper man now haha.
      Yes catch that oil and don't over tighten the oil filter was advice passed to me
      9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB!

          I must agree with albanach, quotes like that from thrifty are total nonsense! The oil filter is better accessed from the top (3ltr), most of the oil would have drained back into the sump. Once the filter is loosened with your filter wrench the residual oil runs down a small tube to just above the front axle put a bowl under that to catch it.
