rear window assembly

i have a K reg ssr-x surf ,i replaced the rear window motor and now the button wont pop up so you can drop the tail gate. so i need either a close up picture of the assembly or a diagram of the rear window. i seem to have a small coil spring left over so i need to find out exactly where it gose.

You don't say which model you've got. Really need that info to help properly. Suggest you add the details to your profile, that way we'll all know and can help accordingly.

Attached is a copy of the relevant manual pages for 1st & 2nd gen 4Runners but Surf is very similar. Hope this helps.
