  • Rear wheels locking to easy?

After fitting a 2" suspension lift, (roughtrax rear springs) and winding the torsion bars up an inch, my rear brakes are locking to easily, causing the car to be very unstable when braking.

After doing a bit of searching about the opposite should happen when doing a suspension lift. I've had a look underneath and can't see anything amiss.

Are there any known faults that could cause this?

    Thanks in advance

Are the handbrake cables to tight? It normally only an issue with bigger lifts though.

Did you over-adjust the LPV valve so it thinks there is a heavy load in the truck?

I'll double check the cable but the brakes aren't binding, didn't adjust the valve as I had read that. 2" lift wouldn't need it?

Finally had. Hance to get back underneath yesterday. The handbrake cable appear to be fine, the rear wheels turn freely with no brakes applied, I've also noticed the hand brakes travel seems to have gotten longer, now about 25 clicks. Also when braking hard the foot brake gets to a point and goes hard but Press slightly harder and it is like a noiseless click and the pedal goes a bit further, that's when the fears then lock. I've read that the lspv might be sticking, does this sound about right?
