Starting to dig around for servicing information and what appears to be a dodgy alternator.
Streetluge Chris has supplied me with a replacement alternator.. (thanks Chris), and as has been mentioned before, it should kick out about 70amps....
So further digging has indicated that if the belts are at the wrong tension, too loose or too tight, the alternator will not perform as designed.
Hence question. How tight should all the belts be? How much deflection should there be on a new belt. Has anyone got the Toyota specs?

Just found the following on Yotatech for '92 2nd Gen Pickups. Alternator Belts should be around 1/4" deflection... Anyone care to comment?
