I plan to get working on this tonight... So time will tell!4x4toys.co.uk - Keeping you on and off the road...

Panic over... Hopefully.
Checked the truck out this afternoon and checked the breather before taking things apart and it was locked shut. So I decided to take the top off and route a pipe to the inside of the truck to avoid the problem again.
Took the drums off and the shoes were all clear of oil. so I cleaned all the small parts of oil up and will keep an eye on it over the next few days. I also topped the diff up and it didn't take much at all so I think the breather was the cause. The oil started to appear the other day when it was warm and after a drive down the motorway so hopefully all is good in the rear department now.

I noticed the other day there was oil running down he OSR wheel on the inside edge of it. This weekend I took the wheel off to take a look and this is what I found:

Now I wasn't sure what the grey gunk is... Could it be the wheel bearing grease as I noticed there's a lot of in/out movement. Video of it: http://youtu.be/xIN6JDYAxeQ

thanks! I have the seal and some shoes sat in the garage waiting to be used so I'll crack on this weekend. How long would it take to do? 1.5hrs?
Whats the verdict on the video? There seems to be a lot of movement in it, more then I noticed before.
Cheers
