its been a while since on here as I sold my lovely old 4runner a few years ago as I needed something for towing a 3 tonne trailor around , so after trying a few different trucks the only thing that did all i needed was a DISCOVERY!!!(GASP SHOCK!!!!!!!),
anyway I still repair and maintain the 4runner for the new owner,
just a couple of niggles , the central locking on the key will only lock the drivers door , whereas the switch on the door panel will lock all!!
any ideas,???
also after recently replacing the front diff , new wheel bearing all round etc, I noticed the joint sleeve of the front prop has a lot of play in it between the two sections, which causes quite a rattle over the beautifull tarmac roads (not!!) here in spain,
also when greasing the appropriate nipple for the sleeve , it tends to come out at the UJ end rather than expanding at the sleeve,
again any ideas or is it a new prop req´d??
