Tailgate window problem

Hello everyone , new to the forum thought i'd introduce myself and ask a bit of advice. Had the usual problem of a slow working and slightly lopsided tailgate window, having read many posts on here and other places decided to replace the motor (as it was getting worse) and renew the bottom runners on the glass. Having replaced the runners eventually, after much use of silicone spray on the rubber gasket bits, put it all back together along with the recon' motor, greased everything, tested it with the tailgate down all seemed to work fine, after shutting the tailgate tired it a few times all ok, then closed window completely and it's now stuck. can hear the motor trying to operate it but it window only moves a tiny bit ( couple of mm ) , any ideas of what to look for as i'll have to climb in the back and have a look. Thanks in advance.

If it wasn't a brand new motor it's probablly this guy.
