Rear window problems

Have not found a thread for this one yet.... any ideas for this problem? Occaisionally during last Autumn when we popped out to jump in the Hilux, the misses and I would find the rear window fully dropped. First of all we thought we were just getting old... last week it happened 3 times and we're absolutely sure the window was up as we specifically checked it when popping over to and back from the pub. Any ideas out there?

Sounds like the winding mechanism is loose or damaged. I had a look for old threads and only found a few, like this one. http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/showthread.php?t=66774

I replaced the motor and the gear on the old one was loose, due to rust it turned on its own.

It has been discussed before, just a week or so ago. It's a wiring fault.
