Evening all, happy new year!
Although the back end of my 3rd gen Surf (which I was talked into buying by the users of this forum about 4 years ago and haven't regretted a second of it!) isn't "hugely" sagging (I think its slightly dropped more on one side than another) I do feel it totally bottom out over speed bump/humps...
So, as I understand it, replace the springs with some new heavier duty ones from Roughtrax or the like, keep the shocks, jobs a goodun?
But.....
Might as well lift it a couple of inches I thought.
SO.....
Do I need new shocks as well then? Or will the existing do with +2 springs?
and....
What's all this I am reading about CV joints wearing down quickly due to increased height/angle and is there something I can do about preventing this?
Thanking you all in advance for any advice.
Rob
