Hi to you all, up until now I have usually found the answer with a search, but not this time.
Has anyone got any ideas?
I have been running on WVO 90-95% WVO for more than a year, with a FPHE fitted.
No major problems, several fuel filters, tank strainer clogged up in the winter, injectors gummed up.
Few days ago began to get a loss of power over 3000rpm, changed the filter.
No better, then wouldn't rev more than 2000rpm.
Connected can of diesel direct to pump (with a new inline filter) no better.
Removed and cleaned the small strainer behind the fuel temp sensor, had a bit of muck in it but didn't look too bad.
Now it starts ok but will barely rev at all.
When its running it is a bit lumpy and there is a bit of white smoke.
Any one had anything similar, or got any ideas.
Could it be pump failure?
