Rear Coils??

Hi all,
I've just bought some of the uprated springs from Roughtrax as my surf is suffering from the usual 'sag', and they state that they 'also fit with original fitment shocks'.
Having read the write up on changing rear coils I notice talk of moving the brake load sensor using brackets/spacers/extended hoses??

My question is:
Can I fit these springs without moving the brake load sensor, using all original parts (except springs of course)?

Yes, you can, as that's how I fitted mine. If you are careful and don't drop the axle on the side you are working on too far and use spring compressors to shorten both the old and replacement springs then they will fit without moving the LSPV. They also work OK with the original shocks, but you will end up with a slight "ass in the air" look to the vehicle when it's parked or only lightly loaded.

As I mainly use my Surf for towing my caravan or being loaded up with four people and loads of airsoft guns and gear it doesn't cause any stability or handling problems.

Thanks Tallyman, that's just what I wanted to hear.
I don't mind taking the brake load sensor off to gain more clearance whilst changing the springs though. Just wanted to know if it would go back again....

Also don't mind the 'arse up in the air' look either.... a lot better than the arse dragging on the ground look!!

Also, is it possible to change the springs using the method of jacking up used in the body lift write up? ie: placing bottle jacks on wheels to raise rear end away from axle.
