Drivers side electric window problem.

Hi just bought a 1991 2.4 Surf ssr-x (auto). The driver side window is playing up a bit. It sticks on the way down, the motor seems to be still functioning as it makes quite a noise (the window goes down when helped with a little hand pressure). When the button is pressed to bring the window back up it is slow but doesn't stick.

Does this mean I will need a new window motor or is there an easy fix?
