little knob !!!!!

anyone know how to cure my transfer levers 4wd buttons rattle. stuffing a bit of tissue down the side of it isn't a real cure

not looked at it yet but guess theres a spring behind it, have i got to strip the whole centre consol out to get it off?

mine does that but an elastic band (the red post office ones are ideal) doubled sort it. I have previously tried a blob of silicone behind the knob (lasted 3 days) doubled sticky tape (1 day) so when the lazzy band starts to perish I just go for a wander down the road and get a new one...never have to walk far!!!

I've used the rubber band approach as well and have gone through a few of them. I find the fat ones that hold the broccoli together from the food store work quite well. Since summer has come I rarely can hear anything though as the windows always down and the tunes are cranked. Come winter I'll get a new rubber band.
