is it only me that gets a sinking feeling every time i look under my surf lol

every time i look under my surf i see a new bit of oil that should be in somthing and not on the outside, so far and counting i have:

front crank seal
rear crank seal
front transfer box output (seems to have stoped)
and new misterious leak that seems to be engine oil on the bottom of front diff

i think im going to have to have a spend on seals

I had a similar problem many years ago. There was always oil on the driveway from somewhere and as soon as one leak was fixed, two more appeared to replace it. Sometimes from places where there was no oil !!!

First thing you need to do is check your V5 and other documents. Then check all the markings and badges on the vehicle to make sure it is a Toyota. This sounds very much like Green Oval syndrome. Have you also noticed signs of rust , and parts degrading before your eyes? It could be that you have bought one of these rogue, cut and shut vehicles, with someone trying to pass off a Land Rover as a Toyota.
