It pains me to say, not only do I NOT have a vice, I don't know anyone with a vice either!

    I'll think of something!

    Cheers!

Threaded rod and some thick washers/sockets either side should work but will be more fiddly

I eventually managed to get them out using, as Albannach suggested, a drill, hacksaw, sharpened (with a grinder) chisel and a BFG.

        Nightmare!

The bl00dy things were welded to the wishbone with corrosion!

I'm betting that getting the new aftermarket new ones in ain't gonna be no picnic either!

Yeah, it's looking a bit 'dog eared', it's getting on for seven years old now!

Don't know about a tool for removing bushes from Land Rovers, I thought people just waited for the metal to rust from around them and they fell out!

'Bushwhacker' was my 'handle' back in the late seventies/early eighties when the 'illegal' CB radios were all the rage, can't remember where I got it from though.
Remember 'Buzby' and those little yellow GPO vans?

Spray them with WD40 and they'll push in easy.

              Phew!

I haven't got much knuckle skin left for another marathon session with 2 Waxoyled wishbones.

Thanks as ever Vince, appreciate it!

Much Much easier with a vice. Remember you'll need a spacer either on the bush or at the back of the wishbone to allow the outer bit of the bush to seat fully.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

Does the spacer come with the bush kit?

This is the first time I've done this mate, could you explain?

                    Thanks,
