ATF Oil recomendations

Hi,

Has anyone used Texaco Textran PSM transmission oil in their Surfs?

It's SAE 80, API GL-4 (means nothing to me)

I can get 25 litres for £30, but don't want to risk damaging the box for the sake of cheap oil.

Also, is anyone still using Dexron II and how do they find gear changes feel after a full flush?
