I'd give em a wide berth after you get the work done under the warranty that comes with the balljoints you got fitted, the work they did however will only be guaranteed for 3 months in most cases, so you will probably still have to pay for labour.

yes i'm just shocked mate becuase i have been using him for 4 years since i got my truck he was recomended to me..another thing he does which i over look is if i need new pads...i book it in..he has the car from 9am until 4-5 pm!..i was in there for something else once and this woman was waiting while she had break pads fitted......it is so annoying waiting all day for a job that could probably take you guys 20 mins to do!

long eaton is in nottinghamshire...there is a nottinghamshire side to long eaton and a derbyshire side to Long Eaton (Sawley) thats where iam the derbyshire end, yes mate would love to do that...will be visiting cornwall hopefully in the summer and day fitting stuff would be brillient will sort something out mate....

Really think you need a new garage. Pads is 15 mins a side for the front (as long as you dont find any seized pistons).

Ball joints isn't difficult at all - nor are TREs, though as has been said before, if you dont feel confident to do them on your own, get an experienced hand. In no time you'll be sorting them yourself and wondering what the fuss was about!

I'd get the garage to sort the TREs for free if they broke them! Cheeky sods!

Phil put a new thread up in the general section for anyone in your area willing to help and show you to do the neccessary repairs etc.Someone will be more than happy to go to yours or you go to theirs and help you out.
