Hilux Surf 3.0lt 4WD problem

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone may have some advice for me. I have two Surfs at the moment, 4WD had stopped working on one of them. My mechanic took the ECU out of the one that was working and plugged it into the one that wasn't to see if that was what was wrong with it. It didn't make a difference so he put the ECU back into the one that was working and now the 4WD is stuck on! And of course the one that wasn't working still isn't...

So now I have two Surfs with no 4WD, can anyone suggest anything?

Have you tried going to/fro a few feet to see if it will engage/disengage.
Also do a search for the 4wd and you should find some info to help you out.Also check the Vac pipes
