Tyres and Wheels - How Big???

Dear all

after having some brilliant replies regarding my 4x4 drive not working and turbo not working, here's my next question!

I currently have a pretty standard surf 2.4 ssrx.

I would like to get bigger tyres and wheels but don't want to mess about with suspension, body lifts, gear ratios, drive train strengthening or altering brakes etc.

My question is, what's the biggest wheels and tyres I can go for without having to alter the car in any way?

I was looking at 16"x7" wheels with 265/70 R16 tyres. Will this work? I'm a complete novice with all things mechanical, hence why this forum and you lot have been so invaluable.

They should be fine - I worked that out to be 30.5" diameter, and 31" fit fine.
