Guys
Your thoughts please. My 93 2.4 is smoking like a good un.
I was searching previous threads trying to get some idea were to go next and i came across a thread from someone who had removed an alarm system and it cured their smoke.
I have in the last week had the injectors checked and found to be fine.
Changed the exhaust a few weeks ago due to a very large hole where it crosses the back dif, and it still smokes very badly.
I have shorted the diagnostic pins under the bonnet and not a dickey bird, no flashes at all (I assume I should have had at least one to say everything was fine).
In your humble opinions is the immobiliser stopping the ecu from reading the data sent to it and adjusting to the optimum setting?
Or am I just a divot for not spotting the completely obvious reason my truck is belching smoke.
