  • OE bullbar doesn't seem to fit

Forgive the dumb question one and all, but I recently bought an OE bullbar for my 3rd gen, but for the life of me I can't see how it bolts on. The brackets on the bars are orientated for horizontal bolts, but there doesnt seem to be any place to bolt them to. The aftermarket bullbar that is currently on it has brackets facing upwards, which fits neatly onto four vertical fixed bolts on the subframe. Are there some kind of adaptor brackets that I should have?

    Any advice appreciated.

Post a pic of your new bullbar. Sounds like you may have a 2nd gen one.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

Do the brackets rotate if you loosen any other bolts on bar?

Hope these pics help, the lug on the inside needs to be placed first so you will have to tilt the nudge bar up to get it in i.e. top of the bar where the lights are wants to close to the truck, if that make sense.
Put some grease on it, helps to make it easier to slide on.
Just realised the first pic states the obvious a bit but you get the idea .

Thanks a lot lads, it seems that there are two brackets I'm missing. They're the ones numbered 52441 and 52442 on the exploded drawing on Nev's link. Fair play to ye lads, and Neal special thanks for the annotated photo's!

Erm, anyone got a coupla spares?
