fuel filter water trap

I changed the oil and oil filter and the fuel filter last night but had a nightmare trying to get the plastic water trap bit off the old fuel filter, the plastic just wasn't strong enough and every tool I used just chewed into it rather than turn it. I got it off eventually but it's a bit knackered now. Does anyone know where you can buy them (milners doesn't list). It appears to work still without leaking but I want to replace it when I next change the filter if just to save myself the battle to get it off.

Can't help with a new one but if you find one then only hand tighten when replacing.The problem with using anything that puts pressure on the plastic fitting is that it expands the parts where pressure is not applied and has the effect of making it harder to remove.
