  • Spring compressors

Ok have waded through searches on rear spring removal and re-fitting with +2" springs and am pretty much happy with what i need to do and going to try and get a hold of some spring compressors to make my life a bit easier with this job but..............daft question time.....most folk have said to use a pair... does that mean 2 compressors on the spring (doing one at a time)? (ps never used them before)

    As always thanks in advance!

You use a pair 180 deg apart and tighten each a little at a time. Try to get the ones with the angled hook that fits around the spring coil. They work better than the type with a straight hook. The straight hook tends to want to rotate around the coil because the rod part ends up on an angle.
