HI there
New years started with having my 3l v6 petrol hilux decide while driving to die/stall on me. Upon starting it done the same thing. Roadside rescue came out and have advised it is a faulty fuel pump? Would this be correct. THe car still starts and after a few seconds ie 5 or so it loses all power and dies. But radio etc is still going, therefor not the battery.
Would it be a faulty fuel pump ie requiring a new one, or because the guy used a wire to override the relay under the bonnet/hood which then allowed me to drive home would this indicate just a wiring / dirty pump which is what I think it could be.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you heaps
