  • Anyone know the thread pitch on the 2.4 glow plugs ?

Just been quoted £70 for a compression test on the truck. I can buy a tester for that but need to know the thread pitch of the glow plugs. I can measure it at work tomorrow but want to try and get the tester by the weekend if possible. (order asap - ie: tonight )

    Thanks,
    Rob.

Hi Andy, yep it's definately 10mm, but I need to know the thread pitch - We've got the gauges at work to measure but it's 30 miles away.

                    You're on fire tonight Tel

So is fine thread 1.0, against 1.25 ? That's the 2 options this tester has. Don't want to spend the cash and it not fit. Moneys a bit squeezed right now.

                    Rob.

1.25 is my guess, 1mm is a bit fine for something like that?
