FYI I mentioned LSD because you never stated what your diff was and they DO come with LSD as an option.

You may as well p1ss into the wind as try getting some of them to accept simple facts Nev. I really love how they obviously don't know the answer yet have the brass to be plain ignorant when given help. Makes helping out on here a pleasure these days.

It is getting difficult. I have nearly pulled the pin a few times.
On the subject of lockers i have just been reading the LOKKA website and they say fit a front locker first...
" A front fitment will actually yield the greatest improvement in off road ability. This is because, most vehicles require the increase in traction (that a locker gives) when hill climbing. Under hill climbing conditions, due to the angle of the vehicle, the rear wheels are carrying a much greater weight (weight transfer) and the front wheels are therefore carrying a lessor weight and tend to break traction very easily. Once one front wheel starts to spin, the other front wheel stops turning and the whole front diff ceases to provide traction. At this point all load is transferred onto the rear as if it were a 2WD and due to the increased load the rear wheels are encouraged to spin and the vehicle stops.
If you can solve the problem of the front wheels spinning, you have solved the traction problem. Another advantage is that on road there are no changes to normal driving characteristics at all."
Is this right as i would have thought most people go for the rear fitment first ?
Remember arrows are silent.....................
Don't forget to tell everyone its indestructable as seen on top gear.......

I thought the same thing
I think that any posts referencing how silly, stupid, etc. you might think a person is, may be better directed to one anothers in a PM.
If I was a newbie, and read that, I might avoid asking a question for the fear of being abused.
I know, I know, it wasn't about the question, it was about the lack of willingness to listen to the answer in the first place, blah, blah, blah.
Nonetheless it still doesn't bode well in printed form
Can understand practically bugger all of what you just wrote, but here is one simple fact. If Nev states something, it's usually 99.5% guaranteed to be a fact. Ask a question and you should accept the answers of those with knowledge in the area without 'suggesting' that they are incorrect.
p.s: I have a fresh supply of dummies here if you need any for the retort which is undoubtedly about to ensue.

Nev

I'm actually finding this b0llocks tiresome too. A factual answer bodes well in printed form, (P.M's are in printed form, working on the basis of the current medium, btw), but an O.P can disregard or dismiss anything proffered which they wish, in their own thread, without running the risk of being of being rebuked in any way or form because of delicate natures? Boo blo0dy hoo.
