Driveshaft then. The needle roller that's come out has either reseated or disintigrated and the shaft is now moving freely again? Just another suggestion for the mix.

i am work 7:30 till 6pm most days, and it gets dark early now.... saturday morning is dismantling time..... have my old man to help and grandfather to supervise, i grew up on a farm in South Africa, i helped in them re-build a defender 110, we got a big v8 into it with landcruiser transmission, i think it was a 5ltr petrol......

cant remember now.....
