if i remove the head, can the valve clearances be checked and corrected with the head on a bench?
with the engine in tact in the car, how do you rotate the engine to check all 8 valve clearances?
secondly, i had trouble with rotating the engine on my old race car and the easist thing was to remove the spark plugs to let the compression out. guess i would have to remove the glow plugs in my case?
lastly as the cam is driven by a belt and not a chain as im used to, im guessing i need to make sure that when i do turn the engine over manually that firstly it doesnt try and start, and secondly i turn it the correct way round?
