bad fuel milage

does any of the sensors in the engine affects the fuel milage if they go bad????

my surf is literally drinking the diesel....i rebuilt the engine,new pistons,new injector pump etc. abd im still having problems with fuel consumption.....any ideas on what might be the problem......anyone.....

That's low! Are you seeing any black smoke?

Also, are you 100% sure of your calculations?

yes my calculations are correct.....i see black smoke when ever i crank the engine

Dribbling injectors?

i thought that was it but i brought the vehicle to a repitable mechanic an he advised me that the injectors are fine.....
