    hi chaps can this be done in situ if so rough how to please

    It wont be in situ if you remove it.
    Cutting steps in the roof of the world

      Drain transmission fluid.
      Remove gear shift surround.
      Remove four bolts and lift off transfer lever.
      Disconnect front/rear driveshafts from T/case.
      Remove bolts that attatch T/case to transmission.
      Unplug sensors.
      Pull back T/case from transmission.

      When re-fitting, take care not to damage oil seal on input shaft.

        thanks for that,bushy is it the 4 bolts or about 8 around the case banjo shapped?

            It's the part with the 8 bolts.
