The 2nd Gen fron diff has a third attachment point in the front crossmember... I want to put some BJ Spacers but don't wanna do it without a diff drop... But how to drop the front attachment point? If not dropped the driveshaft angle will be horrible!

A guy on the Aussie site has dropped the diff on a 2nd gen and there's been a bit of discussion about it on Yotatech recently. Apparently the easy way to do it is to leave the front mount where it is and lower the two rear mounts. This effectively pivots the diff around the front mount. The complicated way involves having to lower the front crossmember - not for the faint hearted

The Aussie write up is here http://www.toyotasurf.asn.au/techsit...suspension.htm and the Yotatech thread is here http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.p...ight=diff+drop
