Just got a 3.0 diesel 93 , the rear window mech does not work well its slow and gets stuck , it takes 2 people to get it back up.

Can these be repaired or is it a case of getting a new mech also not used to 4x4s but suspension seems very soft how much difference should the hard setting make ?

hi and welcome to the home of insane surfers.
THe rear window can be easily sorted.You will need a 10mm socket/spanner,8mm spanner.
takwe the carpet panet off of the tailgate then take the metal plate off.once the tailgate is open double click to catches either side so that you can then raise the window.Make sure you hold the window as the weight will cause it to break.you will then be able to get the window motor out using the 8mm spanner as that may well be broken.Check the main mechanism and the runners on the window its self aswell.
You can get good decent parts from any of us breakers on here

ok will try that later or tmrw , will by some silicone lube as doesnt seem to move smoothly.

I have been taken for a ride in that i knew about the rear window so thought i could just load through the rear seats but unfortunatly the release knobs on the rear seats are both broken off so cant do that either .

Also the aircon pump seems to of been deleted in that there is no tensioner or belt . I have been assured that it works and it just needs £15 of bits to get it working again . Any ideas where from im in BOLTON lancashire
