      i an't got a clue but it is the same as the 87 hilux and earlier

      as stated befor it is a mahle OC67

                  ACTUALLY BIO THIS STUFF WOULD SORT YOUR ENGINE OUT GOOD AND PROPER.no more oil leaks,ok its not cheap at £18 a litre,and thats all you would need,1 litre but take it from me its made a hell of a difference to my truck.sooooooooooooooooo,much smoother and no rattles.

                          I was interested enough to read this thread all the way through, and would like to point out an alternative that 'Ratty' in Australia has been working on for some time. Have a good look at this thread, all the way, and maybe you guys (if interested) could get the filter kit sent over there reasonably cheaply. The manufacturer has been very supportive of the issues:

                            Aye, I've been keeping track of that thread, (as you can probably tell).

                            I have an old LR filter unit here to adapt to test the bypass filter setup. Snatch made some adaptors so that I can pull the feed from the oil cooler assembly, rather than using the oil sender port, as with that kit. The return from the alternator to the sump is likely going to be the tap in point for the return, rather than that method with the filler cap.

                            I just need to get off my arse and sort it. Must admit though, I'm half tempted to try getting hold of one of those JM kits for testing. Seems to be far sturdier in construction than the likes of the Franz and such.
