2.4 Brake Shaking ??
I recently just bought a 1993 2.4 automatic hilux surf, i drove the vehicle home and felt fine, nxt day on motorway doing an average of 60 - 70mph, the vehicle would shudder when braking, initialy i thought this would be warped brake discs, but now (4days later) the shudder happens at even 30 - 40mph, making me think it could be something else?? anyone got any ideas?? cheers for any help!

Had same prob with my 3rd gen until i changed calipers ( two pistons stuck each side), discs and pads.
Now everything is great again and can stop on a sixpence.
Good news is that calipers, discs and pads for 2nd Gen seem to be cheaper than 3rd Gen. My lot cost me just under £400 from Milners but in terms of safety to my kids and other road users it was £400 worth spending.
