What is an EGR Mod?

Ladies and Gents,


I have heard people talking about this but do not understand what it is. The only thing that I can work out is that it has something to do with Turbo Chargers and exhaust smoke.

This involves blocking off the EGR or Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve.
Do a search under EGR, its been covered loads of times.
