Hi all,
Answered a few but never posted before.
Lost the power steering on the way back to the smoke from Southend. Just about got it home. Pump looks dry and box looks dry but the two pipes on the inner wing panel just below the reservoir are wet with ATF. Topped the reservoir up and hey-presto power steering is back but looses about half the fill a day. One pipe appears to have a flex section with one of those stupid pinch spring clips on it. Is this right or is it a bodge-up. I thought both pipes went to the steering box and were under pressure. The flex pipe and clip don't look up to pressure carrying standards and this looks like the source of the leak. Anyone seen this before, can I just replace the bit of hose with hydraulic hose (perflex?)
Thanks.
