how many ways are there to get a 4" lift??

knowing me ill probably go for the 5" lift!
are the panhard rods an easy enough job?
and do u have any links with step by step procedures for doing the panhards?
and what size tyres can i fit with the 5" lift? and in ur opinion is the 5" compared to the 4" lift worth the extra effort for 1 more inch?

surfenstein or Tonyn can make up the adjustable panhard rods or bushwhacker can make the drop bracket both of which are very easy to fit.You will be able to fit 33's on the 5" lift or maybe even 35's.
the extra clearance even 1" is better for off roading

Goodcat - Im running 35" tyres!

Word of warning, if you go mental offroad your just going to snap things! An you'll probably want/need a much bigger lift. a 33" tyre will go into the wheel well on a surf, a 35" will scrape as it goes in.

I love Richards trucks stance. the -52 offset on the wheels means they stick out just right, not too much an not to little.

You have to use approx a -32mm offset to run 35x12.50.

You can get Simex 35x10.50 Extreme trekkers but the term Pizza cutter sums them up best. Very skinny.

Basically the greater the negative number the more the wheel will stick out. Which means it has a greater arc when you turn. the bigger it is the more likly it is to smash into something.

Personally you need to be looking at a 4" sus lift an 3" body lift to run 35" tyres without trashing your truck in some proper crazy offroad flex stuff.

Dont be a street queen like me, You'll regret it!! Im already hunting for a defender (an getting the elite4x4 members to hunt for me..) for a project that i can just use offroad. It will still look the mutts nuts it just wont be so 'precious'

now i want to modify it to the max!
10"+ lift,
very aggressive 35" tyres,
new paint job,
heavy duty breaks,
funky alloys,
sound system,
engine tunning and aftermarket exhaust,
oh and and with all this i want to be driving around on a ocean of cream leather! even leather on the dash if poss!
want to make it a show car kinda. i love the whole monster truck look and now im hooked!
will spray it myself and do all the work myself too. (apart from engine mods)
and ive never done anything like this b4!! haha. will be a fun year!!

You can make it yourself from some 'polyblahblah' stuff!!

Cant remember the name, or www.4crawler.com sell them.
Or our TonyN an Surfenstein or even Apache could fab a kit up for you no trouble. There are a few more issues with it an you'll want a bracket that lifts the hi-lo range lever back up.
