    Has anyone here ever fitter an intercooler on their motor?
    Always assume the worst.....Anything less is a bonus!!

          It makes a noticeable difference. Holds onto top gear longer. Doesn't stuggle up hills like it used to. I regularly see 27/28mpg - not bad for a motor with 267,000kms on the clock.

          Well worth doing. Easier with a body lift though.

            i was just looking at the pics of someone who's taken out the air filter housing and side mounted his..... once i've changed this injector pump i'll be on the look out for a cooler and new air filter. i'm hoping its a straight forward job...lol

              Did your cooler come with a fan, I picked one up over the weekend off a Shogun at a scrap yard and it has an electric fan attached, was thinking that if side mounted and used with a K&N ftype filter, might be able to squeeze the fan in too, what do you think? Would it be worth it?

                I had one of those, but the fan is going on my ATF cooler for low speed, steep crawls.
