  • Surf Not Level!

Got my Surf 1990 2.4td Manual in Sep 03.
Always wanted a Surf, and now I've got one I'm in Heaven.

Need some advice though! When parked on level ground my Surf is not level it's slightly lower on the right. Doesn't seem to affect the driving though.
What could it be and how do I fix it?

I need to service my Surf soon. Any advice on what needs doing what parts I need and where to get them?
Also at just over 98k km I may need to change the cam belt where can I get one and are ordinary Hilux parts compatible?

    I don't ask for much do I??
    Still Learning!

Normal problem is the rear shocks tend to go first and it sags at the rear it may be one rear shock has gone.

Oil changes are recommended at 3000mile intervals & oil filter every 6000 but its best to change the filter every time you change the oil. I would change the oil, air filter, oil filter & fuel filter if they have haven't been done.

Toyota dealer can supply the cam belt or for patent one try here www.milnerconv.co.uk they do lots of parts for the Surf.

Lots of surfs are lower on the drivers side when full of deisel. Both of ours are!
Doesn't seem to affect anything tho! If your shocks, suspension is ok then I wouldn't worry!
