    Hellooo and welcome!!

Hard/soft affects the stiffness of the rear suspension! Try driving without it on down a bumpy road for a couple of minutes then switching it on, should feel all the bumps alot more.
Its useful if your towing a weight or have heavy in-laws making the rear end sag!

I think though(guys correct me if I'm wrong)that when some people replace the shockers, they can fit ones that dont link up to the switch so they just stay the same stiffness.

I only switch it to hard when I'm flying up a motorway with evil bends -it doesn't seem to sway as much-but that could just be me.

    Any way hope this helps.

Yep - you're right. I fitted gas shocks... no hard and soft now but a better ride off road!!!

Hard/soft should affect all 4 corners, if the OE shocks are still inplace.
if you slowly pump breaks whilst moving you will feel the bonet dip, if you then swith to hard there is virtualy no dipping.
there fore if any one out there has modified there shockers and has a redundant switch they wish to sell please let me know.

This depends on where the importer put the rear fog lamp switch, however if he put it in the panel next to the switch (that's if yours is on the right of the steering column like mine) then he might have forgotton to reconnect it. There is a noticeable difference on mine when you switch it to soft - the car wallows like a whale (or a New York Taxi). I only use soft on nice straight smooth motorways, I leave it on hard everywhere else.

            Cheers

It's only 4 screws and a bolt, actually that side is the easiest to remove, should take you all of about 2 minutes if you are brave.
                Cheers
