hey i got an electronic rust proofer on my surf and they work
got it in 2000 with small a,ount of body rust and it hasnt grown so im rapt. i reccomend it.

In England we have electronic rust generators. At least turning the key in the Surf seems to make it spread at an amazing rate....

Seriously, what is one of these things? Do you have a link or make or something?

I'm unconvinced to be honest.

The write up reads like one of those diet pills ads.

"These pills, when combined with exercise and reduced calorie intake will cause you to lose weight"

So, this thing charges your cars bodywork like a big capacitor? Hmmm...

2 weeks ago i used a spray bottle with old engine oil and parrafin in it, so easy just spraying around hard to reach bits, may need doing every couple of months but its good for the truck

Almost, On ships its impressed current cathodic protection, as well as a bit of current you also have sacrificial anodes fitted. I suppose the principal is the same.

Well, not quite. Ships sit in something very conductive, and it wouldn't be possible to build up a charge (like the capacitor they talk about) on the hull cos its effectively grounded permanently.

Yep, turbonators, fuel catalysts etc etc. Despite all of the heresay and Joe Public testimonials, scientifically, they dont hold water.

Hehe, fool the ECU into squirting in more fuel, get more power, thats all. No magic, no 'everything is brilliant'. An expensive, shiny 'ebay resistor chip' IMHO.
