which brakes are binding ,front or rears, does the rears have pads or shoes, is it only when car has bin on a run or is it binding all the time more info of the fault would be a good start

fronts are the prob, rear is drums, heres wot happened drove 5 miles to a builders merchants parked up for 5 mins drove off 500 yrds brakes started to drag, drove on for 5 miles to garage brakes now smoking and i could only get 40 mph out of the van, they put it on a brake tester to confirm only the fronts were dragging, ok i will give you a bit of back ground 6 months ago the van developed a binding issue and the master cylinder and servo were changed ( £ 850) pads were changed in next service, brakes never been the same ie not as sharp and could get them to suffer from pump out.Originally posted by pete-w-which brakes are binding ,front or rears, does the rears have pads or shoes, is it only when car has bin on a run or is it binding all the time more info of the fault would be a good start
