    Hi all.

    New to the forum

I have a 1994 4 Runner that seems to have a high front end. I,ve searched the posts and found articles on saggy bum syndrome but the back looks about right. Is it possible to lower the height at the front by adjusting the torsion bars and if so how is this done, where are the adjusters located and which way do you turn to lower.

    Many thanks for your help

Hiya Mark.I would of thought that the rear springs were gone rather than the front lifted to high.measure from the the rim of the wheel to the underside of the wheel arch and see what the gap is.I think its about 13.5" standard.

All info on the torsion bars can be found here

      Thanks Richard for info.

Looks like you are right about the springs... Sitting at about 12 inch at the rear. Can you just compress the springs and take them out or is there more too it than that.

      many thanks

yea compressing them is no problem.also if you take the bolt out that holds the bottom of each shock that will give you a bit more room when the axel is pushed down to get old springs out and new in

some of the inf here may be usefull but don't use this guys jacking methods
