    Hi guys and gals i am replacing the shocks on my 3rd gen but cant get the sensor of the top of the shocks on the rear has anyone got any ideas please cheers mat
    I HAVE FOUND JESUS he was behind the sofa

    Undo the 2 ten mil nuts. Take it off and undo the wiring connector. Bit fiddly, but do able.

        It looks like a similar system to the earlier models. Earlier just have the two bolts on the cap. Remove them and slip off the cap. Shock nut is underneath. Diagram below may help.

          IIRC the actuators are just clipped into a holder. The holder being a cup which is secured by the top damper nut.
          Its a while since I changed mine but I think I simply prised then off, I wasn't worried about damaging them as they weren't going to be reused.
          The pic posted by Nev seems to support what I remember, ie no securing nuts, just clipped on.
