  • Wheel Arch Gap?

    "Trucks are normally set at the factory at about 13.5 - 14inch from top of wheel rim to bottom of wheel arch"

    is the above true for my 2nd gen extended arch 3L M(94) on 15"wheels
    if not can someone tell me the standard wheel arch gap,

      so how much would i be able to raise the front bars?
      i raise them today as gap was 12" so now its 13"

        1.5" to 2" max on the torsion bars.When you have lifted the front take it for a drive to settle the suspension and recheck the gap again and adjust each side to even them up

          How about the rear, do you no what the gap should be on 15" wheels?

            I think the rears are the same as the truck would normally sit level.You will find tho by cranking the front t/bars up you will also lift the rear slightly also.It wont lift a great deal but you will see once you've done the t/bars and re measure

              have just measured mine and on the back from wheel rim to arch is 12", i take it this is the "sag", would i be better putting in coil spacers or new springs ?.
              I was on about new shocks and spring / lift but not for some time yet due to other expensses

                you are better off getting new springs from milners.20% stronger for about £60 all inc
