3rd Gen advice

You have'nt got yours yet. 2nd GENS had LSD as an option, Not sure on 3rd Gens.

Whilst I'm here and asking questions, I know the 3rd Gen Surfs are based on the Colorado/Prado - are they exactly the same - as in do they use same engine spec, suspension set up and brakes?

I've been to look at a couple of Colorado's but they weren't quite what I wanted, other than to drive, so my theory is that I will like the 3rd Gen Surf as much to drive but it will be more the type of vehicle I want (I don't need the 3rd row of seats for eg.).

Thanks again guys - I know I've got a lot to learn about Surfs, but am hoping I can get a vehicle that is as fun to drive as my old Disco was, without the need to get it welded up every 3 months!

I was under the impression that the prado/colarado were based on the 3rd gen running gear with new body shell for different market, not the other way around.

Do Surfs have the power fold wing mirrors like the Prados do? I've always wanted them...

Yep Not heated though, dunno if the Prado ones are or not.
